Kotsovolos reinvents itself, having embarked on a digital transformation journey to reimagine every aspect of the brand and reconstruct customer experience across all touchpoints, starting from the e-shop. ATCOM carried out the UX, Design and Front-End development of the new e-commerce site, within the context of an inclusive Omnichannel strategic partnership, with many more deliverables to come.
ATCOM laid out a thorough UX Strategy, aiming to radically improve user experience in a personalised and effective manner. Competitor Benchmarking analysis allowed our UXlab experts to drill deeper into Kotsovolos’s performance against major Greek and international competition, looking into 6 specific areas; find, choose, purchase, customer service & communications, Omni-channel and miscellaneous. The insights gained, helped identify areas of improvement and differentiation, emerging trends and patterns, as well as ideas and best practices to serve as inspiration for the website’s new UI.
Personas were an important component of the redesign strategy, because through them, a clear understanding of the various target group audiences of Kotsovolos was acquired. 13 personas were matched with specific demographics, interests, needs and motivations, allowing our team to proceed to a detailed user journey mapping and predict every possible scenario of communication and interaction between customers and Kotsovolos. Focusing on the micro-moments occurring throughout every user journey, we were able to confirm that we address each user with the appropriate content, at the right moment.
Our Experience Design teams worked in close collaboration to translate the UX strategy into a design that best reflects the corporate identity of Kotsovolos, facilitates business objectives and elevates user experience. The new e-shop has a modern look and feel and features a plethora of graphic elements that boost engagement and motivate users, while fulfilling the highest standards of usability. Adopting a responsive Front-End implementation, our Front-End development team ensured the website’s performance and effectiveness on all devices, functionally, as well as aesthetically.
