Globalsat, a leader in the distribution of technology and office automation products, needed to upgrade its digital presence and augment its functionality to support the full spectrum of its business activity. ATCOM created a new digital space for B2C clients and B2B partners of Globalsat, aiming to boost online sales and provide a full suite of B2B strategic sourcing tools, establishing lasting relationships with customers.
ATCOM evaluated the company’s needs and business objectives and put to effective use the advanced functionalities of Netvolution 5.5 to build an integrated system for Globalsat’s services. As a B2C e-shop, the new Globalsat.gr promotes online sales in a user-friendly and secure environment. As a B2B portal, the site radically improves the ordering and product distribution procedures, optimises clients’ internal operations and provides valuable tools to manage and coordinate their business activity.
Globalsat.gr supports the company’s B2B Strategic Sourcing services, enabling the automated management of product handling and distribution on behalf of its strategic clients – some of Greece’s largest technology and telecommunication businesses. Through this approach, Netvolution aligns and standardises the collection of insights in the form of planograms, specs and comparative tables; focusing on the entire life-cycle of products, tailor-made purchasing procedures are then built to meet clients’ individual needs.
Intended to highlight the company’s partners rather than the Globalsat brand, the site has a minimal layout with clean, wide spaces and integrates mega menus, smart filters and clear landing pages that promote usability.
