Core Innovations, a Motor Oil company, the Shell Licensee in Greece, and long-standing partner of ATCOM, has embarked on a Digital Transformation journey in recent years that has resulted in a customer-first Omnichannel ecosystem. Continuing the strategic investment in digital, the company decided to strengthen the physical touchpoint of its Shell brand, aiming to enhance allSmart Loyalty Program and optimise both the customer experience at the gas station, and the operations of the station itself.

The goal was to offer registered allSmart Club members that visit Shell gas stations the opportunity to pay for their gas through the POS while utilising their allSmart privileges, collecting and redeeming loyalty points, at the pump of the station and without exiting their vehicle!

Our strategy was centered on the highly sophisticated interaction between various systems, such as the:

  • customer’s allSmart app
  • store’s POS app
  • e-commerce site allsmart.gr
  • loyalty program
  • payment providers
  • integration with the store's systems and communication among the stores

Through the advanced architecture of the Core Pay@thePump, the brand new payment system we created, we enhanced customer experience at the gas station while, at the same time, streamlining internal operations and strengthening the allSmart loyalty program.
