David Shing, one of the most renowned “gurus” in the international digital ecosystem, is the keynote speaker at the upcoming ATCOM Next, as announced by the company.

Regarded as a revolutionary digital business theorist, but nonetheless an eminent insightful expert in new trends and technological progress, in 2011 he was appointed Digital Prophet, a role AOL created exclusively for him, in charge of the evaluation and interpretation of the strategic evolution in the digital ecosystem.

In his keynote speech at ATCOM Next, David Shing will be referring to the foremost megatrends that make up the next day of the digital economy. Furthermore, he will analyse the impact of the most critical developments and leading innovations in the emerging new reality in digital, such as the Internet of Things and virtual reality, while proceeding to assessments of the challenges and opportunities occurring to all of the parties involved in the broader market such as brands, agencies, publishers and technology providers.

ATCOM Next is ATCOM’s annual TechFest for clients and partners, aiming at the research, promotion and application of the innovations that will play a key-role in digital business in the next 12 months.
